~~Skirt~~

Here it is! My newest sewing project.
     This skirt was so much fun to make, it was quite easy which was really nice sens I don't sew with patterns that much. I LOVE the inner pockets on it!!!! It was my first time making something with inner pockets so I'm thrilled with the results! Another thing I love about this skirt is it's length. Not too short not too long, a perfect length for summer with sandals or winter with tights. :)
     Sorry for the not so good pictures of it....the camera was dieing. :/
     I'm now thinking of making it again only maybe this time in pink polk-a-dots....sound like a plan?

Last summers Creation

Last summer I made this purse. It's a total Liz purse. I designed the whole thing my self, yes.....(I have fun doing things like that every once in a while lol).:)
This has been a very faithful bag, first it was my purse last summer, then it was my co-op bag for my school books I needed to bring with me and such, and now it's my purse again until this years creation takes form! :O !!! Only this time the purse is going to be knit! ;D
     Tomorrow I'll hopefully post my newest sewing project, which I'm quite pleased with!

Cable Leg warmers

What do you think of them? I have a liking for them.......though yes, a little late in the season for leg warmers, but they'll be bright and early for this up coming fall.lol :)
They weren't too hard to make, which is a plus. * :D And don't take too long to knit if you're faithful with working on them.
There is one tiny problem though, ones a little bigger then the other......ehhh I am not that good yet with keeping my tension the same. :P Hopefully I'll get better with that.

Hat-With-Flower

I've been working on this hat for awhile....I am quite pleased with the finished product. I am really liking the flower! It was amazingly easy to make and I thinks adds the perfect touch to the hat, I like the little jewel in the center of it too that I added as my own little flavor. ;) lol
Have any old hats(or new ones) that need a little something? Try knitting or crocheting a flower for it! :)

Jewelry Stand

I made this jewelry stand for my sister for her birthday last year.....I think it's charming! I love my color scheme! lol :D I've been wanting to make another sens I finished this one...but, yes 'I haven't gotten around to it yet' . Hopefully that will change soon....because there are so many fun little things you do in making it. :)

Ever tryed knitting with lace weight yarn? It's so fun! And it yells "spring is coming!" , I am really happy with how it turned out, I can't wait to wear it! And surprisingly the pattern was not very hard at all! It was just working with the fine yarn that was a bit more tricky...though do-able. :)

Colonial Dress

I made this dress when I was 14 years old, My sister and I each made one at the same time so we were able to help each other with the harder parts(or she was able to help me lol).
I was(and am) Really happy with how it turn out. I love the color of it! Sadly though, I hardly ever wear it. :(
I have been in the mood to sew lately, so coming soon is one of my newest projects! :D

I made this scarecrow for my mom's birthday I believe, last year. I really like how it turned out! It was really fun to make, there was so many fun little details you did like hand-paint the face, hot glue-gun on the twig hair and hands and sew all the little clothes and accessory's for it. :) I've been wanting to make another one for a long time, but haven't gotten around to it yet. :)

The Perfect Cable Scarf

This really is the perfect cable scarf! It goes with everything and is really fun to wear! I love it, it's always the one I want to put on when I am going out(I had it on today!). :)
Another awesome thing about this scarf is it is sooo easy to make! This is the perfect scarf to make if you want to try cable knitting for the first time. <3 I added some really cool fringe to it too that you don't see in the pictures. <3 What's your favorite thing you own that's home-made?

snow flake sweater

This is the first sweater that I've ever made. :) I am quite happy with how it turned out! it was a 'quick knit' so-to-say, and it's really warm and cozy! You use really bulky yarn(I used Lions Brand) and the patterns not very complex, which is a big yes! You can get this awesome pattern and others at http://www.verenaknitting.com/  !

Cable Neck Scarf

what ya think? I made this neck scarf  this past December hopping to give it to my mom for Christmas...but I didn't get the buttons for it until last week. So now it's a very late Christmas present. :) I think it's quite cute even if I didn't get a good picture of it.....yeah, I am not real good at taking pictures of my self-wearing things..... ;) Have you ever tryed cable knitting? It's the funnest thing! You think it's going to be way hard, but you'll be pleasantly surprised at the easy-ness of it!

Mittens

 These amazingly are the first mittens that I've ever made! And even though it took me making 3&1/2 of them to get two that were the same size, they were still fun to make and amazingly easy! The only problem with them is that they're a little big, so if I made them again I'd make them smaller.

 What do you think of the vine-flower thing?

 I personally like my color scheme better then the patterns. :)
